1. Install a good Antivirus/Anti-spyware :

Of Course, you should have one in your computer, but it doesn't mean, the antivirus/anti-spyware program is enough for your computer security. While using antivirus/anti-spyware softwares, you should follow the "Maximum Detection Technique" to enhance your computer security. That is, scan your computer with 2 or more antivirus/anti-spyware programs per week. And keep changing the list of antivirus/anti-spyware programs on your computer.

For example, if you are using Panda-Antivirus and Kaspersky. Use another set of antivirus/anti-spyware for the next week.

If you search "Gmail hacker software" on Google, you will get a site claiming to have a special Gmail hacker software that can hack any account instantly.

Really ? Do you believe that ? Of course not, but some people do. Here comes the scary part, most of the newbies downloads the software to hack others. But in reality the software itself is a malware designed to steal their personal and sensitive information!

If you receive any calls like that, just end the call and go back to your work! These fake technicians convinces innocent users to visit a website which contains some serious exploits to take over users computer. Then they will demand a ransom to unlock the computer.
