Fake Porn Video Flash Update Delivers Malware To Facebook Users

Facebook porn video post delivers malwares and infected 110k Facebook users in just two days. It may happen to you also, if you click on any facebook porn links.

The malware posts a porn link publically from infected systems and tags 20 friends of infected to spread itself. The malware, disguised as flash player update redirects the victim (if you click on the link) to a fake webpage and then plays first few seconds of video. 


Then the video prompts the victim to download the flash player update (Fake) to continue watching. When the victim installs the fake flash player update, the malware hijacks keyboard and mouse to spread itself through the victim's facebook account.


The Social Network issued a statement : "We use a number of automated systems to identify potentially harmful links and stop them from spreading. In this case, we're aware of these malware varieties, which are typically hosted as browser extensions and distributed using links on social media sites. We are blocking links to these scams, offering cleanup options, and pursuing additional measures to ensure that people continue to have a safe experience on Facebook."
